the tarot series

the tarot series is a project i'm working on to write twenty-two (22) 2-stanza pieces in common meter that capture the essence of the major arcana of the rider-waite tarot. i wanted to find a way to bring them to life through verse and gain a deeper understanding of their representations. ultimately, this series takes the fool's journey from the start (0. the fool) through to completion and fulfillment (XXI. the world), encountering these represented entities and understanding them and the lessons they provide. ideally, if i do this as well as i'm hoping i can, you won't need to have a background in tarot to understand the representations!
